DDL prides itself on its commitment to continual improvement to its quality system. In order to ensure a quick and flawless testing process and support a wide variety of test requirements, we continually improve our quality program in effort to offer superior service within our industry.
DDL has established a quality management system (QMS) that is managed in accordance with the requirements of ISO 17025:2005 and ISO 9001:2008.
DDL’s Registrations & Accreditations
DDL’s Eden Prairie, MN and Irvine, CA facilities have received ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA).
ISO/IEC 17025:2005 is the international standard by which a laboratory’s commitment to quality and technical competency is evaluated and is becoming an essential standard for testing facilities serving the medical device industry. DDL achieved ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation by demonstrating its laboratories are in compliance with the standard and A2LA accreditation requirements. This accreditation further reaffirms DDL’s technical competency and capability to produce precise and accurate test data that our customers can rely upon to meet their regulatory requirements.

DDL is currently registered to ISO 9001:2008 with BSI. We’ve been registered since 2003 and our certification number is FS 78860. In 2015 we successfully underwent our re-assessment. All of DDL’s labs are under one certification. You may download a copy of our registration here.
Note: DDL has elected to permit its ISO 9001 certification to expire without renewal when it reaches its expiration date on June 22, 2018. Please click here for further explanation on this decision.
