A Luer is a general term referring to a conical fitting with a six percent (6%) taper. Luer taper and locking fittings are used in a variety of applications, including syringes, catheters and infusion systems. Luer fittings may be made of rigid or semi-rigid materials.
ISO 594-1 and ISO 594-2 are two of the major Luer testing standards.

DDL provides many different Luer testing services to ensure your product is ready for submission to the appropriate regulatory agency.
DDL specializes in Luer testing for all types of devices and applications. DDL uses a MediLuer ISO 594 Test Assembly Apparatus which allows assembly of a reference fitting to a product more repeatably and reliably than by traditional hand methods.
