Testing Product Safety and Performance

DDL’s Product and Materials Division can assist you in testing a product’s performance and safety.  Luer fittings, syringes, needles, catheters and guidewires are routinely tested by DDL for our medical device customers.  We test against ANSI, ASTM, IEC, ISO, JIS and others.  Vibration, physical shock, thermal shock, flow rate and compression testing are among the many other tests that can be carried out at DDL to help the medical device developer understand their product.

Medical device manufacturers use DDL’s wide range of testing services for one-stop package, product, and materials testing in order to prepare them for submission to the appropriate regulating agency. Commonly tested products include:
