History of DDL

DDL has been in medical device package, product and material testing  industry for almost 20 years.  We strive to offer the most effective business practices while employing a staff of technical experts.

DDL, a third party testing lab, was founded in 1990 by John Hart, CEO, and Patrick Nolan, COO, both of which still work out of the home office, in Eden Prairie.  John and Pat had previously worked for Eden Prairie based testing products supplier MTS Systems.  The two started DDL (Distribution Dynamic Labs) when an opportunity for a testing lab presented itself.

In January of 2003 DDL opened a second lab in Costa Mesa, CA.  That lab has recently moved to Fountain Valley, CA.  In September of 2007 DDL merged with TCP Reliable, a full service manufacturer for temperature controlled packaging products and phase change materials, located in Edison, NJ.   DDL East opened in January of 2009.  All three recilities are registered with ISO 9001:2008

In addition to medical device package testing DDL also does product and material testing with a speciality in medical devices.  We recently added a prototype and design division in June 2007 in which we're able to assists customers in effective package design for their medical device products.
