Quality Analyst | Minneapolis, MN

Job Summary:
The primary role of the Quality Specialist is the maintenance and continuous improvement of DDL’s business processes for the control of product quality. The use of industry standards (ISO & ASTM) will be used as benchmarks.
Essential Job Functions:
1. Quality Control
- Verifies and approves test set-up for various test methods
- Reviews and approves DDL test reports, letters and data for product quality compliance
2. Vendor Approval Process
- Routes the appropriate documents to vendors from the Quality and Purchasing Departments
- Maintains the Approved Vendor List
- Maintains the Vendor Files (hardcopies and electronic versions)
- Contacts and sets up external audits with venders
- Conduct Vender on-site audits (local and out-of-state)
3. Document Control
- Reviews SOP’s and forms for compliance to established DDL policies
- Creates SOP’s and forms as needed for effective execution of processes.
4. Tech Talks / Training
- Quality Process and other supporting topics
Qualifications:
1. Associates degree in related field required, Bachelors Degree in Science Related Field preferred.
2. 2-4 years Quality Control and/or Inspection Experience required
3. ISO and Quality Systems experience required
4. Customer Service experience desired
5. ASQ CQIS desired
